From an infrastructure perspective this can get expensive, fast. So, we built EBM to work seamlessly alongside our Scalable Bare Metal (SBM) service, allowing you to optimize costs for your predictable baseline and spin up additional compute - on your terms - in the event of an unexpected demand spike.

EBM is a fully customizable, enterprise bare metal server offering from servers.com. It provides deep control over hardware and networking, making it ideal for a wide range of workloads from lightweight applications to compute-intensive tasks (where high availability, consistent performance, and complete configurability are essential).
EBM is pure enterprise dedicated server hosting. It does not involve virtualization so there is no virtualization overhead or risk of noisy neighbors.
EBM offers several benefits when compared to hyperscale cloud solutions, including:
The following features are included as part of our SBM pricing:
*US/EU region specific
Yes. You can install any OS using iDRAC, including custom images. Standard Linux and Windows templates are also available for automated provisioning.
No. EBM is not a highly scalable infrastructure solution. To tap into more scalability, we recommend pairing EBM with our Scalable Bare Metal (SBM) service.
Our EBM solutions are fully custom, on request. Our experts work with you to design server configurations that are best suited to your specific needs.
We use trusted brands such as Dell and Supermicro. Dell PowerEdge servers form the backbone of our server provisioning, and all our dedicated servers are built using enterprise-grade components to ensure top performance and reliability.
If your desired dedicated server configuration is out of stock, we'll suggest alternatives or provision custom hardware on request. Just let us know your requirements.
You can access your server via SSH, IPMI/iDRAC (OOB), VNC, the control panel or API. A Terraform provider is also available for infrastructure automation.
Absolutely. Whilst EBM can be used in isolation, it is designed to be used in combination with SBM as part of a hybrid bare metal cloud solution. We recommend using EBM for your steady compute requirements and tapping into SBM as and when needed to cover peak periods.
